A lovely day in that park was had by all today at the Retriever Club Luxembourg (RCL) clubshow in  Mertert. Where last year everything was new for us and the results were perhaps not what we had hoped for this year was not only very successful but also great with many friends around.

Both boys were entered this year and both performed extremely well.

First up was Indy (Endeavour Morse vom Storkenbusch) who at 5 months was entered in the Baby Class. Judged by Mr. Hans Stigt (NL), Indy received lovely comments which show he’s growing up to be quite the lovely young boy. To top it all off he received a 1st Place with Very Promising marks. 

Riley (Dutch Scooter vom Storkenbusch) made his second appearance as youngest entry in Open Class and managed to get a  placing again – also with lovely remarks from Mr. Stigt – and ultimately managed to get a 4th Place with Excellent remark.

At the end of the day Indy had to compete against all Baby Class winners of the 6 Retriever breeds and performed his little socks off but the competition of a lovely Golden Retriever Bitch proved to be too big. Despite that we are extremely proud of how both boys performed.

To make the day even more interesting Ron was helping out in one of the rings and Elle was asked to show another dog.

Overall yet again another lovely day with great friends and we thank the Judges and Organisations team of the RCL for this.
