Indy (J. Ch. Endeavour Morse vom Storkenbusch)

1 year already!!

Introduction

It became clear to us that Riley needed a friend and a brother in his life. Cats are lovely but they don’t want to play.
As luck would have it Dagmar Eck from the vom Storkenbusch kennel was planning a new little with Tess (A Sense of Pleasure’s Pepsi) – Riley’s mother. Over the past years we’ve gotten to know Tess a lot better and many of her fantastic and loving character traits can be seen in Riley as well. We therefor asked Dagmar if we could have another pup from Tess’ next litter.

in 2017 Endeavour Morse vom Storkenbusch (“Indy”) joined the team.

Indy shares the same mother but a different father as Riley. Dagmar chose Fiete (Ch. Mallorn’s Silver Surfer) from the A Sense of Pleasure’s kennel (breeder Katrin Korf) for this promising pairing – the same Kennel where Tess was born.

Let the excitement begin

Having visited the litter a couple of times our choice fell on Indy. Don’t ask us why – it was a gut feeling. True – he was a beautiful pup – but so are all the others. A very difficult choice but one we are extremely happy with.

And so the adventure began.

Indy  has certainly made his mark in the family. Always excited, playful, intrigued and joyful he has not only brought a lot of joy to us but has also become Riley’s best friend. The two are inseparable. His “will to please” has no end and shows no fear.

In the ring

Indy made his first show debut last year just shy of 4 months in Belgium and was awarded a Very Promising 2nd place. Since then he has continued to shine in the ring and made it through Puppy Class with 5x first place of which 3x Best Puppy. 9 months on, Indy recently completed his last show in Youth Class at the RCL Show in Mertert (L) where he was awarded Exc. 1st Place and was awarded the title Junior Champion Luxembourg.

A new chapter has now begun for him in Intermediate and Open Class.

As he continues to develop we are excited to see how this young man will develop. Not only in the ring but also in other disciplines. He is already showing a great aptitude for retrieving and loves the dummy training. Basic obedience training remains boring but here too he shown that he’s got it – just doesn’t always want to show it. Nothing beats water though. Any water. This is his little bit of heaven on earth.
