As for everyone 2020 has been an unexpected and usual year.

We started off the year with our new team member Barney who has certainly complimented the pack. Everything remains exciting to him and his joy in life brightens up every day. 

Sadly we also lost Lexie this year, the last of cats. We miss you every day and you will forever be in our hearts little girl.

We have not been to many shows this year which also meant we weren’t able to see many of our friends this year. Those that we did manage to go to were a huge success for us with all the boys performing well. It’s a real shame we weren’t able to show Barney more as he could have done with the experience. He still gets so excited every time he’s in the ring. 

Barney did complete his Character Assessment (Wesenstest) though. The first step in becoming a registered LCD stud dog. Next up will be his xrays.

On a positive note though, with both of us working from home almost entirely we were able to spend a lot more time with the boys. They have all made their appearances on a number of important video calls with colleagues bringing their usual joy during tough calls. Always a welcome moment. Indy was even able to come to the office in Munich once where he was immediately dubbed the Feel Good Officer of the company. 

And as we finally have some snow arriving on this last day of the year we look forward to 2021 with a lot of excitement and hope to see all our friends soon and do the things we love. Our usual end of year walk and celebration with all our friends from the Storkebusch kennel can’t take place this year but we think of you all and we will make up for it soon.
